Estrellas Poker Tour Valencia kicked off yesterday with its first day 1. A total of 176 players took their seat looking forward to get the final table that will be played on Sunday at Casino Cirsa de Valencia.
From the starting field, 84 players remain for day 2, with the Dutch Richard van Schendel as the chip leader.
Among the participants that get their pass to day 2, there were some of the most known Spanish poker players, such as PokerStars Team Pro Juan Manuel Pastor, EPT regular Luís Rufas or the Super Nova Elite Javier Tazón 'MuckedBoy'.
On top of the chip count, van Schendel found his way to an impressive stack of 85.800 chips when the average stack of the remaining players is 31.428. The first Spanish player, right behind the Dutch is Manuel Jimenez, qualified through PokerStars for this event, with 80.900 chips.
For day 1B is expected to have a full house at Casino de Valencia with a minimum estimated field of 200 players. Among the participants of this second day 1 will be the champion of last year's edition, Alvaro Santamaria 'Varosky'.
