Preparing for the World Series of Poker: Heads-Up Tips from the Pros

  • PokerNews Staff

The 2013 World Series of Poker features 62 events. In order to win one of those events, one must be able to successfully conquer the final opponent in heads-up play, barring any multiple eliminations occurring on the final hand. There is also the very elite $10,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold'em taking place on June 7. Needless to say, heads-up poker plays a big part in winning events.

Our very own Sarah Grant took some time to get a few tips from some of the top heads-up players in the world during the European Poker Tour London Team PokerStars Pro vs. The Full Tilt Poker Professionals battle. In the video below, Sarah chatted with Gus Hansen, Tom Dwan and Isaac Haxton, and each provide a few tips on heads-up play.

Don't forget, PokerNews will be your one-stop shop for all things WSOP, so be sure to stay tuned daily to these pages for more and more Series-related material.
