After busting out in the money bubble on thursday's 5k Warm Up, it was Ahmedabad's Ankur Agarwal who overcame 74 entries and emerged as the winner of the 5k Deep Stack Turbo event at the final event of the India Poker Championship weekend!

The three handed battle was a pretty up and down affair with all players being evenly stacked at a point, and when Kavish Kukreja was eliminated in 3rd place, we expected headsup battle to go for a while considering both Zarvan Tumboli and Ankur Agarwal were fairly even stacked.

After a round of headsup it all came down to this hand where Tumboli with {5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} moved all in and was called by Agarwal who had {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} giving him the win and title of Deep Stack Turbo Champion!

Congratulations to all the winners and from all of us here at PokerNews India, it's goodbye till next time.

In an attempt to steal the blinds, Tumboli moved all in with {5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} which was called by Ankur Agarwal {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} who was sitting with a stack of 373000 just about covering Tumboli by a few thousands in chips. The board {q-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{3-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Spades} gave Tumboli some hope on the flop but eventually ended his deep run in tonight's Deep Stack Turbo

Kavish Kukreja
Kavish Kukreja

Kukreja from the small blind moved all in with his monster stack which was called by Zarvan Tumboli in the big blind.

Tumboli: {a-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Kukreja: {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The board {6-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Spades}{a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} gave Tumboli the pot who doubled up with his pair of aces on the turn taking out a huge chunk from Kukreja's stack.

In the next level of play, Ankur Agarwal from the small blind moved all in with 150000 which was called by Kukreja in the big blind.

Agarwal: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Kukreja: {q-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

The board {7-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} did not help Kukreja's cause and left him crippled to 134000.

In the very next hand, Kukreja busted out when his {2-Clubs}{5-Clubs} ran into Tumboli's {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}.

Rakesh Sharma's {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} could not pair up against's Kavish Kukreja {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}after his all in shove from the button.

Fifth Place:

One time chipleader Amit R Jain got crippled in a hand against Zarvan Tumboli whose {j-Spades}{10-Hearts} cracked Jain's {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}. In Jain's final hand, He moved all in with {a-Spades}{7-Hearts} which was called by Ankur Agarwal {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} and Kavish Kukreja from the small blind with {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}.

Fourth Place:

Sunil Singh {k-Hearts}{q-Spades} moved all in from the button which was snap called by Kavish Kukreja who tabled {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}. No help for Singh on the board who could not outdraw Kukreja's aces.
