During heads-up play, Deepak Bhambhani made it 24000 to go and he got re-raised by Vallabhaneni to 50000 which got tank called by Bhambhani to see a flop of {9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{j-Hearts}. Both players checked the flop to see the turn {8-Hearts}

Bhambhani now bet out with 50000 and Vallabhaneni tanked for a bit before making the call. On the river {8-Spades}, Bhambhani fired a third barrel of 50000 which was again tank called by Vallabhaneni.

Bhambhani's {k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} were beaten by Vallabhaneni's {k-Clubs}{q-Spades} which gave him the pot with his king high and queen kicker, and with that, Bhambhani got crippled to 48000 who finishes 2nd in tonight's event when his {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} ran into Vallabhaneni's {a-Clubs}{4-Hearts} in the final hand of the tournament.

Vallabhaneni goes home as the India Poker Championship's 5k Warm-Up Champion, after outlasting a field of 92 players.

The IPC returns tomorrow with the 10k Weekend Kickoff and the PokerNews India reporting team will be right here at the Royale Card Room at Casino Royale docked on the Mandovi river bringing you all the action as it unfolds.
