Smith Value Shoves River

• Level 11: 500-1,000, 100 ante

We found Dan Smith with enough chips in the middle to put his opponent all in on the end. The board read {7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{a-Spades}{3-Clubs}. Smith's opponent tanked for a couple of minutes before announcing a call. Smith revealed {k-Hearts}{7-Spades} for two pair, and his opponent tossed his cards into the middle and got out of his seat.

Peters Busts Esfandiari

• Level 10: 400-800, 100 ante
David Peters
David Peters

We walked up to the table just as Antonio Esfandiari went all-in for 20,200 of his remaining chips. David Peters, two seats to the left, also announced, "All in," after a short tank. The rest of the players folded, and Esfandiari showed {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, while Peters tabled {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}.

The board came {q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs}, hitting a queen for Peters and coming up short for Esfandiari. After an apparent downswing, Peters is now sitting at a healthy stack of around 60,000 in chips.

Sylvia's Queens Hold

• Level 10: 400-800, 100 ante

Jesse Sylvia opened for a raise to 1,700 on the button, and the small blind reraised all in for about 17,000. The big blind folded, and Sylvia insta-called.

Sylvia: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Small blind: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

The board ran out {4-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{k-Spades}, and Sylvia busted his opponent on the last hand before their table broke.
